This article is going to be a bit personal but it will give you a glimpse who I am. For those of you who don’t already know, I’m married and have two children. My wife and I dated for nearly four years and this coming fall will be our 13th wedding anniversary. From day one my wife has been my rock and support system. Blogging and running social media accounts take an incredible amount of time, and my ability to manage it all starts and ends with my wife.
When I first started this endeavor, my wife thought I was weird and even laughed at me a few times when she caught me taking photos of my clothes, but even though she didn’t understand what I was up to she supported me anyway. As my social media following grows, the demands to keep up with this hobby grows with it. I need her constant support to keep up. For example, to create content I need time to style and take the photos, which usually happens on the weekends. This usually takes me at least three to four hours but often will run longer. When you have two toddlers demanding attention, that’s a lot to ask.
I often seek her council on outfit pairings and get her feedback, whether I like it or not! She is also good at brainstorming with me on what I should do next to keep my content fresh and interesting. I know without her I would not be able to do this.
She really has been my rock, and when I put that ring on her finger thirteen years ago, I never realized how much it would symbolize that.
